ADVANCED HTML
DESCRIPTION
HTML (HyperText Mark-up Language) is the formatting language most widely used for creating web sites on the
Internet. With HTML plain text documents can be turned into colorful, functional, interactive works of art. Not only does
hypertext, or links, make surfing the web possible, but the language as a whole provides web pages with color, layout,
organization, and interactivity through the use of forms. In this course, advanced HTML will be taught. Students will learn
how to create and incorporate multimedia elements, such as sound and video, meta tags, cascading style sheets, and script
techniques. In addition students will learn the fundamentals of planning a web site and creating their own reference
library. By the end of the course each student will have created a multi-page web site using all the techniques learned in
the three levels of HTML courses.
