EATING
DISODERS
DESCRIPTION
Incorrectly perceived as a 'slimmers' disease
resulting from vanity, eating disorders are on
the increase, not just for adolescent girls,
but for men, women and children of all ages.
Despite the increase, the disorder is usually
misunderstood and treatment is both
inappropriate and
ineffective.
This course provides much valuable tuition
concerning the physical and psychological
symptoms and problems of anorexia, bulimia,
binge-eating, laxative abuse and related eating
difficulties.
