DO I QUALIFY FOR A CANADIAN INCOME TAX RECEIPT

If during the calender year you have purchased courses or exams with a total value exceeding $100, you will receive an 'Educational Tax Receipt' for use with your Personal Income Tax Return. Receipts are issued during January and February of the following year in time for you to submit your Tax Return.

Receipts will not be issued for the following situations

1. Courses that are funded by the CASS program

2. Courses that are funded by an employer

3. Courses that are funded by the Federal Government under the Federal Employment Services Department

4. Course that are purchased and applied as a business expense

5. Courses purchased by US citizens

6. Courses purchased by a Canadian Citizen living abroad
